Ok so here lately there hasn't been much worth writing about good news wise. That all changes now. We went to the orthopedic doctor for Chris's ankle today and found out he won't be needing surgery. This is an awesome thing because now we can plan our trip to my parents house in December. Also today I finally got through to someone in social security. Nothing had been done in the fifteen required working days so now if nothing is done by Friday of this week I'm going in there and talking to a manager and they'll make sure it gets unsuspended. So life is really looking up. We won't be struggling for too much longer and we'll be able to do what we want to do. So things are great in this neck of the woods, and I can't wait to get things roling again.

Oh boy where do I start. This week has sucked but been great all at the same time. Nothing has really changed on the social security aspect of things, but I got some good news. I finally have decided to give guiding eyes a second try with my getting a dog. See last time I went there I lost Yvonne. That wasn't exactly easy for me. I'm gonna chalk that one up to a bad expierience and being young and dumb. So with that being said I have a home interview in october. I'm super pumped for it. I've been doing a lot of work with my mobility instructor and Chris to get routes down. After 7 years of being bitter towards the school and swearing up and down I'd never get another dog. It's about time. I'm in a better situation to work a dog then I was when I was 18, and I've got great support. Chris's mom is thrilled with the idea and quite frankly so is Chris. He's lactually thinking aobut getting one himself. He wants to see how I do first then he'll go. He starts school next week, and monday we've got another doctors appointment for his ankle. He's been doing a great job of staying off it lately and realizing when it starts hurting. We're struggling right now but every couple goes through this struggling phaise. Things are starting to look up and we're gonna be ok. I've been in austin for 11 months already. I'm still saying it's been the best dicision I could have made for both of us and our relationship. I'm gonna go help with dinner and relacx for a bit.
