today in a quick nut shell

Today I had mobility at 9:00 this morning and I wasn't looking forward to this lesson at all. I've had this fear of esculators since when at the age of four I fell down one. Today  had to cowgirl up and face that fear.In order for me to get around Austin affectively I've gotta learn them. The first run at it I stopped cold. I don't know why but it just locked me up. I finally got up the courage and rode the one that goes up without a flaw. Mission accomplished! Down however was a different story. I learned to keep my cane on the step in front of me so it would levels off letting me know when the step is about to come down so I felt a bit better. All and all dispite the shaky start I got better. I really miss <lj user=:cbell26:> a lot. he's on vacation at his moms in Houghston, and he doesn't have net access right now. This sucks because I miss talking to him on skype. I'm just glad I have a three day work week. This will make time go by a lot easier. H also found out today taht his laptops sound card is busted. I knew it wasn't a great laptop and this just further proves that theory. I've also found the most amazing song. It's called address in the stars. This song says everything about the way I feel aobut my dad. I miss him a lot, and not a day goes by that I don't think of him. Well I'm off to get something done, although I don't know what yet.
